Hosting
So, you want hosting @ M-C eh? Well, the good news is - its finally here!! Just going to quickly run you through what you'll get and all of the rules ;)...
The Rules
No innapropriate sites.
You gotta be a polite, friendly person.
If you are accepted your site must be updated regularly (once every two weeks at the least)
If you are accepted please try to get your site up as soon as possible, I'l give you a 3 week deadline.
Please link back to my site as a way of saying thanks.
When your site is up it must have no stolen content or your site will be deleted immediately.
Your site must be a blog, a graphics site and possibly a myspace site. If you have another kind of site, ask me and I'll tell you if I host it.
If I accept you and dont get a reply within a week, and you have done nothing to your site in that time, you will be deleted.
The Requirements
You have to have msn messenger/YIM so I can keep in contact with you, if not e-mail is ok, but I would prefer you having MSN.
You gotta know a decent amount of CSS & html.
You have to know FTP (or how to use the file manager)
You must be able to make your own layout (although if you buy layouts or its a gift its ok)
What you'll get
OK, here's a list of what you'll get ;)
A subdomain (you.moonlit-castle.net)
An FTP account and/or file manager.
250 MB Disk space
Pretty much unrestricted bandwidth (max 50 GB)
CGI, PHP 4 & 5, Perl, python
3 e-mails (you@you.moonlit-castle.net)
If you want a MySQL database, then feel free to ask me, I get 20 with my hosting package, but as i only get 20, please request them, thanks :)
